Transport/Logistics Officer – Head Office
Mr. Fatai Rotimi Oyekunle is being recognized for ten years of dedicated service to University Press Plc, having joined the company on November 4, 2014, as a Logistics/Transport Supervisor. His diligence and attention to detail led to the confirmation of his appointment on July 31, 2015. A graduate of Transport Management (B.Sc., 2010) and holder of a Diploma in Computer Engineering (2007), Mr. Oyekunle has consistently applied his knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and logistics coordination.
His exceptional contributions to the company’s fleet management and distribution efficiency earned him a promotion to Transport/Logistics Officer on April 1, 2022. Known for his reliability, calm professionalism, and deep commitment to his work, Mr. Oyekunle continues to be a vital part of our logistics operations.
BABAJIDE OLANIYI ALOFE (MR.)
Assistant Manager (Distribution) – Abeokuta Depot
Mr. Babajide Olaniyi Alofe is celebrated for ten years of loyal and versatile service to University Press Plc, having joined the company on August 3, 2015, as a Stock Control Officer in Ibadan. He holds an HND in Accountancy (2008) and was confirmed in his appointment on February 3, 2016. Throughout his career, Mr. Alofe has demonstrated adaptability and operational excellence across multiple depots — from West Depot to Lekki/Ajah (May 2017), then Ajegunle to Abeokuta (March 2024) — each transition showcasing his professionalism and reliability. His steadfast commitment culminated in a promotion to Assistant Manager (Distribution) in April 2025. Mr. Alofe’s career exemplifies consistency, leadership, and excellence in stock management and distribution oversight.
TUNDE ALABELEWE SHITTU (MR.)
Senior Educational Sales Representative – Kwara Depot
Mr. Tunde Alabelewe Shittu is recognized for a decade of impactful service to University Press Plc, having joined on June 26, 2015, as an Educational Sales Representative (ESR) on a provisional appointment. His strong educational background in Guidance and Counselling and his field performance led to the confirmation of his appointment on January 6, 2016, as the ESR for the Ilorin territory. Mr. Shittu is a results-driven professional known for his dedication to customer relationships, sales growth, and educational engagement. His passion and consistent delivery earned him a promotion to Senior Educational Sales Representative in March 2022. He remains a key contributor to the company’s outreach and success in the Kwara region.
AHMED MURTALA (MR.)
Invoicing/Accounts Officer II – Minna Cash Sales Centre
Mr. Ahmed Murtala joined University Press Plc on July 23, 2015, as an Invoicing Clerk at the Minna Cash Sales Centre. With an ND in Statistics, he brought analytical precision and consistency to his role. His outstanding performance led to the confirmation of his appointment on February 27, 2016.
Over the years, Mr. Ahmed has earned a reputation for accuracy, accountability, and professionalism in handling financial documentation and transactions. His growth and reliability were rewarded with a promotion to Invoicing/Accounts Officer II on April 1, 2022. OLUWASEGUN TAOFEEK HASSAN (MR.)

Mr. Oluwasegun Taofeek Hassan is recognized for ten years of dedicated service to University Press Plc, having joined the company on July 23, 2015, as a Stock Control Officer at the Kano Depot. Assistant Manager (Field Operations) – Kano Depot
Mr. Zakari Iman Nura joined University Press Plc on August 21, 2014, as an Educational Sales Representative at the Kano Depot. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Kano State Polytechnic and was confirmed and regularized as a full staff in March 2015. Demonstrating consistent leadership and outstanding sales acumen, Mr. Nura was appointed Acting Zonal Coordinator (Kano) on November 14, 2022, and subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager (Field Operations) on April 1, 2023. His commitment, reliability, and professionalism have been invaluable to the company’s sustained growth and success in the northern region.

Mr. Abel Yashim joined University Press PLC on October 28, 2014, as a Stock Control Officer at the Zaria Depot. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Cooperative Economics and Management. On January 10, 2019, he was redeployed from Zaria Depot to Makurdi Depot, where he continued to demonstrate diligence, professionalism, and commitment to operational excellence. In recognition of his outstanding performance and leadership qualities, Mr. Yashim was promoted to the position of Assistant Manager (Distribution) on April 1, 2025. Through his years of dedicated service, he has exemplified integrity, reliability, and excellence, contributing meaningfully to the company’s growth and success.

Educational Sales Representative – Lagos Main Office (Maryland)
Mr. Ayomide Oluseun Oshokoya joined University Press PLC on July 21, 2014, as an Educational Sales Representative at the Ikeja Depot. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education (Accounting). He was confirmed as a full staff member and his appointment regularized on January 21, 2015.
Over the years, Mr. Oshokoya has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the company’s mission of promoting quality education through effective sales representation.

MR. PETER OLUTAYO OJO
Mr. Peter Olutayo Ojo joined University Press Plc on 12th July 2010 as Manager in the Information Technology Department, and his appointment was confirmed on 11th January 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso (2002), and is a certified Microsoft Professional.
In January 2012, he assumed leadership of the Information Technology Department in an acting capacity following the resignation of the then Head of Department and was later confirmed as the substantive Head, a testament to his competence, diligence, and calm disposition.
In recognition of his hard work, commitment, and loyalty, Mr. Ojo was promoted to Senior Manager (IT) on 1st April 2013 and further elevated to Principal Manager (IT) in April 2019. Over the years, he has played a key role in advancing the Company’s IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.
Mr. Ojo has attended several professional training programmes within and outside Nigeria. He is a Graduate Member of the Nigeria Computer Society and a Student Member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International.

Bayonle Kazeem Abiiba
Gardener I – Head Office, Ibadan
Mr. Bayonle Kazeem Abiiba joined University Press PLC on June 14, 2010, as a Gardener. He was confirmed in his appointment on September 13, 2010. Through his diligence and commitment, he earned a promotion to Gardener I in April 2013, and another promotion on April 24, 2025, in recognition of his continued hard work and contribution to maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant work environment at the Head Office.
Omowumi Olaitan Akomolafe (Mrs.)
Deputy Manager (Accounts) – Head Office, Ibadan
Mrs. Omowumi Olaitan Akomolafe joined University Press Plc, on July 14, 2010, as an Accounting Officer. Her diligence, precision, and commitment to excellence led to the confirmation of her appointment on January 13, 2011, and subsequent promotion to Accounts Officer on April 1, 2012. A consummate professional with a strong academic background, Mrs. Akomolafe holds a B.Sc. in Accounting (2008), an MBA in Financial Management (2015), and an OND in Accountancy. She is also a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Her exemplary performance, integrity, and leadership in financial administration earned her promotions to Assistant Manager (Accounts) in April 2019 and subsequently Deputy Manager (Accounts) in February 2022. Mrs. Augustina Ohita Alabi joined University Press Plc on September 13, 2010, as an Accounts Clerk, and through her dedication and reliability, her appointment was confirmed on December 12, 2010. Over the years, she has demonstrated strong work ethics, accuracy, and professionalism in her accounting duties.
Her commitment and consistent performance earned her a promotion to Accounts Supervisor in April 2019, and subsequently, a promotion to Senior Accounts Officer in April 2025. Mrs. Alabi holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance (2014). Temitope Rasheed OLANREWAJU
Senior Educational Sales Representative – Ibadan
Mr. Temitope Rasheed Olanrewaju joined University Press Plc in February 2009 as a Sales Canvasser on a temporary appointment. His diligence and strong performance earned him a provisional appointment as an Educational Sales Representative (West Depot, Ibadan) in June 2009, and his appointment was regularized and confirmed in May 2010. MS. LOVE BOSE SHABA
Ms. L. B. Shaba joined University Press Plc on 4th July 2005 as Editor (Special Publications). She holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Ibadan, obtained in 1995. Her appointment was confirmed on 23rd January 2006, and through hard work and dedication, she was promoted to Senior Editor (Humanities) on 1st April 2007.
She was appointed Head of the Editorial Department on 20th November 2008 and promoted to Manager I (Editorial) on 1st April 2009. On 20th September 2010, she was redeployed to head New Horizon, where she continued to demonstrate strong leadership and editorial excellence. Her consistent performance earned her promotions to Senior Manager (New Horizon) in 2011 and Principal Manager (Publishing) in 2014.
A highly skilled and innovative editor, Ms. Shaba has made remarkable contributions to the publication of several successful titles, particularly under the Special Publications Project, which remains a major source of revenue for the Company. In recognition of her diligence, creativity, and commitment to excellence, she was promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager (Publishing) in April 2019, a position she held till date.
Bolanle Funmilayo OYEBOLA (Mrs.)
Assistant Manager (Administration) – Ibadan (Head Office)
Mrs. Bolanle Funmilayo Oyebola joined University Press Plc in June 2005 as a Confidential Secretary, bringing with her a strong administrative foundation supported by Diplomas in Secretarial Studies, Computer Operations, and Desktop Publishing, as well as a B.Sc. in Secretarial Administration. Her appointment was confirmed in September 2005, marking the beginning of a distinguished career of consistent growth and versatility.
In January 2008, she was redeployed to the Distribution Department as an Invoicing Officer (Bulk Store) and later promoted to Confidential Secretary II/Invoicing Clerk I. Her competence and dedication earned her successive promotions — first to Invoicing Officer in April 2010, then again in April 2013. In February 2021, she was redeployed to the IT Department as a Data Processing Officer, further broadening her administrative expertise. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Mrs. Oyebola was later redeployed to the Human Resource Division in April 2022 as an Administrative Officer, and subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager (Administration) within the same year. Etim Edet ABIYA (Mr.)
Senior Educational Sales Representative – Benin Depot
Mr. Etim Edet Abiya joined University Press Plc on April 1, 2005, as a Security Guard at the Benin Depot. His dedication and commitment to duty led to the confirmation of his appointment on July 1, 2005. Demonstrating strong work ethics and an eagerness for growth, he was converted from Security Guard to Warehouse Assistant in June 2007, further confirmed in the same year. Through diligence and consistent performance, Mr. Abiya was promoted to Warehouse Assistant II in April 2014. His exceptional commitment and drive for professional advancement culminated in his conversion and upgrade to the position of Educational Sales Representative (Marketing Department) in February 2022 — a transition that reflected his adaptability and understanding of the company’s operations.

Okechukwu OJI
Assistant Manager (Distribution) – Onitsha Depot
Mr. Okechukwu Oji joined University Press Plc in October 2004 on a temporary appointment as an Invoicing Clerk at the Owerri Depot. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Planning. In January 2005, he was transferred to the Aba Depot as a Temporary Invoicing Clerk and later appointed a Stock Control Officer in May 2005, marking the start of a steady and progressive career in distribution management. His appointment was confirmed in February 2007, and through consistent performance and reliability, he earned promotions in April 2010 and April 2012. Demonstrating leadership and operational competence, Mr. Oji was redeployed to the Onitsha Depot in January 2017, where he played a key role in strengthening stock and logistics operations in the region.
In recognition of his dedication and service excellence, he was promoted to Assistant Manager (Distribution) in April 2022 and subsequently transferred to the Ibadan Depot in July 2024, where he continues to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s distribution network. Ramat Mohammed ILEMOBOYE (Mrs.)
Senior Invoicing Officer – Jos Depot
Mrs. Ramat Mohammed Ilemoboye joined University Press Plc on May 6, 2005, as a Secretary/Invoicing Clerk at the Jos Depot. Her dedication and competence earned her confirmation of appointment in August 2005. Demonstrating diligence and administrative excellence, she was promoted to Confidential Secretary/Invoicing Clerk I in March 2009, a testament to her growing expertise in documentation and customer service support.
In May 2013, Mrs. Ilemoboye was redeployed to the Abuja Depot as an Invoicing Clerk I, where she continued to contribute effectively to the company’s invoicing and sales operations. Her consistent performance and professionalism earned her a promotion to Invoicing Supervisor in April 2016, and later to Senior Invoicing Officer in April 2025.

Sunday Oluwafemi OLADOKUN
Manager (Field Operations) – Abuja
Mr. Sunday Oluwafemi Oladokun joined University Press Plc in September 2004 on a provisional appointment as a Trade Officer. His appointment was regularized and confirmed in April 2005 as a Trade Officer (North). He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and has consistently demonstrated excellence, commitment, and leadership throughout his career with the company. Over the years, Mr. Oladokun has grown through the ranks, earning several well-deserved promotions. He was promoted to Educational Sales Representative II in April 2009, Assistant Manager (Field Operations) in April 2016, and Deputy Manager (Field Operations) in April 2019. In April 2023, he was appointed as Assistant Depot Manager (Abuja) and later promoted to Manager (Field Operations), Marketing Division in April 2024.
A consummate professional, Mr. Oladokun is an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN), a Full Member of the Institute of Loan and Risk Management (ILRM), and an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (ANIMN). Emmanuel Abayomi OGUNTOYE
Zonal Manager – Zaria/Kaduna
Mr. Emmanuel Abayomi Oguntoye joined University Press Plc in May 2005 as an Educational Sales Representative (Taraba/Adamawa). His commitment and consistent performance led to the confirmation of his appointment in November 2005. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s degree in Transformational Leadership and Management.
Mr. Oguntoye’s career reflects steady growth and versatility within the company. He was promoted to Educational Sales Representative II in April 2009 and appointed as Acting Depot Coordinator (Maiduguri) in April 2010, where he also served following his redeployment to Borno State. Subsequently, he was redeployed to Adamawa State under the Makurdi Depot as Senior Sales Representative (Makurdi/Jos Depot), and later to Zaria Depot as Depot Coordinator in September 2014. In recognition of his leadership and outstanding contributions, he was promoted to Assistant Manager (Field Operations) in April 2016, and later to Zonal Manager (Zaria/Kaduna Zone) in October 2020. He was also nominated as a member of the Joint Consultative Committee in November 2019.
Mr. Oguntoye, an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (ANIMN), continues to exemplify dedication, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing the company’s strategic objectives.

OLUSEGUN AJIBOLA SANYA
Mr. Olusegun Ajibola Sanya joined University Press Plc on 27th March 1995 as an Educational Sales Representative in Lagos, and his appointment was confirmed on 1st October 1995. Through hard work, commitment, and exceptional performance, he rose steadily through the ranks, serving as Assistant Manager (Marketing) in 2001, Zonal Manager (Lagos) in 2004, and Area Manager (Ikeja) in 2005, before later heading the Ajegunle Depot. His leadership in planning, implementation, and monitoring of marketing operations consistently delivered outstanding results.
In recognition of his contributions, he was promoted to Senior Manager (Field Operations) in 2013 and later re-designated as Regional Manager (West), overseeing depots in Ikeja, Ajegunle, Abeokuta, and Ibadan. In February 2016, he was transferred to the Head Office as Senior Manager (Marketing Services) and subsequently elevated to Principal Manager (Marketing Services).
Mr. Sanya currently serves as the Assistant General Manager (Marketing Division), a position to which he was promoted on 1st April 2025.
