Pre-Vocational Studies for Junior Secondary Schools (Upper Basic Education) is a series published in three volumes. It is a new series created from integration of Agriculture and Home Economics curriculums for Junior Secondary Schools.

The new series completely cover the new curriculum developed by Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) for the Nine-Year Basic Education Programme.

The contents are treated in simple language and supported with colorful illustrations and appropriate pictures. Examples and content materials are drawn from the student’s immediate environment to aid easy comprehension.

The addition of activities, objective and essay questions at the end of each unit helps the teacher to evaluate the student’s performance in order to realize the objectives of that unit.

The series is written by experienced Home Economists and Agricultural Science teachers.
