Description

Civic Education for Nigerian Primary Schools is a six-book series purposefully packaged to conform with the new Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) curriculum and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for the first six years of the 9-year Basic Education Programme in civic education.

Books 1 – 3 are written to surpass the requirements of the curriculum for lower basic while Books 4 – 6 are tailored to exceed the requirements of the curriculum for middle basic.

Completely new, and thus putting the recommendations of the NERDC and the desire to attain the MDGs content within a reasonable time in perspective, the contents of the books are treated in a holistic manner to build morally sound and upright citizens who would ensure the promotion of the political and socio­ economic development of Nigeria.
