Islamic Religious Studies and National Values for Primary Schools is an entirely new six-book series written to suit the new Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) curriculum for pupils in the first six years of the 9-year Basic Education Programme.

The Islamic Religious Studies section is written to expose pupils to the basic knowledge of Islam, clearly written Arabic text of Qur’anic chapters, religious morals and lessons. Section 2 deals with an in-depth treatment of societal and behavioural issues in our national life. These are a variety of ideas and information that will enable the pupils to understand their immediate community and current security issues and precautionary measures.

Also, the contents of the books are discussed in a broad way to build spiritually, morally sound and upright citizens who would ensure the development of the religious, political and socioeconomic views of Nigeria.
