We exist in mental horizons bounded by arcs. As we progress, we find other arcs beyond our initial horizon which may attract or repel, may illuminate or confound. Across the Arc is a collection of poems which reflect emotions and observations across the arc of love, ethics war, society and self.
It acknowledges what we owe others, directly or indirectly, for ideas, motifs and behaviour which influence life. Each poem situates local experience but, at a deeper level, reflects universal patterns that cut across ethnicity, race and place.
They are arranged alphabetically in order to enable each poem a free stand.
