The revised Mathematical Skills Steps 1 – 3 like other titles in pre-primary series are based on the NERDC Curriculum Guide for teaching and learning in Nigerian Nursery Schools. The series formalize the mathematics drill (Quick Test/Maths Skills) to assist teachers to monitor, assess and record children’s ability/strategies at this level of education. In this fourth edition, the children are exposed to more stimulating and challenging exercises. Gold star stickers are provided for the child to fix on every page as he/she finishes doing the activities on the page. This is an added fun to the learning exercise. At the end of each book is a teaching guide for teachers and parents.
